Planter top of Old Loose Hill

The recently installed planter just off the A229 at the top of Old Loose Hill, has become something of a talking point.

It initially started when one windmill was ‘planted’, then another one joined it and before the Loose Parish Council knew it, some plants were added, along with some ornamental frogs.

Since then, the planter has again been embellished, now with added ornaments including owls, gnomes, a hedgehog and flower.

It might not be to everyone’s taste, but the Loose Parish Council’s Environment Committee would like to thank the mysterious planter(s) for brightening up the container, prior to it being planted out properly.
